Birthday Weekend!

Well we have had a busy week and I decided it was time to update the blog.My parents flew into town for the weekend and my sister Rhonda drove over with her boys and we had a great time.Friday night we opened presents . Notice the bandaids on Sierra's arm, She got 5 shots earlier that day.

Sierra liked all her presents, especially the dress up clothes which she even shared with Ruby.

Then Sierra blew out the candles on her Rainbow cake (which she requested) and ate a ton!Ruby was a little sick of Sierra getting all the attention.She is telling the camera "When is it going to be my birthday!"

Then on Saturday everyone went to Tombstone.the girls had a great time along with everyone else.

Sierra rode in a little wagon pulled by daddy.

Ruby rode her own steer.And Sierra rode a pony while her cousins Bryan and Corey looked on.Although I think the highlight of the day was at lunch when Jacob decided to order an enormous hamburger.This is the before shot.



and the after...By the way he ate this whole burger before my mother could finish her tiny one!



Then on Sunday Sierra sang in her first Primary program.It was really good and when we got home Stan had just had a long long day.

He was in his chair for just a few minutes and he was out!!!!All in all it was a great weekend!

I only have one bit to add.Back on Labor Day weekend my family got together in Idaho for a little picnic.I couldn't be there but Rhonda brought pictures from it this weekend.One of them caught my eye because it seemed so funny to me.So here is a picture of my sister Debbie and her husband Jim, you can tell they have been married for forever because they don't even have the need to talk anymore.They can just stand in companionable silence:)I am pretty sure that when we have been married that long or even now probably that Jacob wishes we could be like this.For his sake!!!!So until next time......
